Before I begin, I need apologize for the grandiose rant to come, because it’ll be a hot one. However, don’t think because this is a rant, you won’t learn something. Nononoooooooo, on the contrary my computer-bound friend. Not even after a couple hours of writing the 2 posts about photobucket/wordpress & comment spam, guess what graced my dashboard. Yeeeeup, those spam fuckers. Except this wasn’t the usual spam comment or random piece of shit jibberish…it was something far more maniacal. I didn’t go over it much in the spam post I wrote 2 days ago, but there was a very important piece of information I left out and I apologize sincerely.
Lemme break it down one more time. We already know spammers are sadistic little fucks, but what we don’t know is how what we perceive as “flattery” or “credit due” is the complete opposite. Ok, let’s pretend I started my honest blog 3 months ago (which I really did) & also pretend a spammer created his or her’s a little before mine. Now this spam blogger (splogger) has ONLY made posts on his blog by STEALING from other blogger’s sites (including mine) across the web who think won’t notice or too busy doing his or her own thing to notice. Remember, since these posts are stolen, the splogger will have MUCH more content than you and most likely, a higher page rank in some circumstances. For the most part, Google does a good job sorting out the hoes from the pimps and players, and removes fraudulent sites from searches altogether. But like all methods of filtering, sometimes things seep through. And In the event you haven’t guessed by now, these sick fucks get away with it. Few notice these bogus posts, and even fewer can do anything about it. But you know what I said to that? FUCK THAT SHIT.
You know what was wrong with what I just got done talking about? The word pretend, that’s what. This shit DOES happen and some sick bitch stole my fucking post about photobucket and wordpress yesterday! ACTUALLY, TWO blogs stole my post and when I found this out, I was so livid I wanted to send them death threats….and actually carry part of them out by at least toruring them. Instead, I thought about how I could put an end to this. Following my own advice as in the previous post relaying the intricacies of spam and slippery ulterior motives, I composed an email. This email went a little something like this:
Subject: I apologize if you don’t own a spam blog, but if you do this might be important-
Body: Get my crap of off your spam site right the fuck now before I get your webhosting suspended right now. Take my post off your damn site right now. Your in violation of finallyanime dot com’s site terms. I will persue this if you don’t comply. Get m shit off now. I will report you and know exactly how. Again, if this is the wrong email, ignore it, but if not, I will shut you down personally
After sending the scathing message, I decided to forget about it, and set my 24 hour internal clock to “spammer sabotage” no matter if he replied or not. The funny thing is, a real person actually replied:
Tell me your site url, and my post url (that i copy your content), i will do that for you, sorry for the mistake.
“sorry for the mistake.” SORRY FOR THE FUCKING MISTAKE?!?!? NonOnonooooooooo…I’M FUCKING SORRY BRO, I’m sorry I can’t POSSIBLY fathom how you “MISTAKENLY” copied an ENTIRE post of mine onto YOUR site. But it’s cool though, I’m still gonna give you the 16 foot dick complete with cum & spray action. I hope it gets in your fucking socks you sick fuck. Anyways, I emailed him back and asked him, what the fuck was his problem. Why in the living hell would I contact you if the post weren’t mine. This is why we have murderers and delusional people who are set off by something as meager as a burnt “freedom” fry. Because dumb fucks like this ask stupid fucking questions while trying to 1-Up us hardworking bloggers…WITH OUR OWN WORK!!!!
Parting words
My work is still far from finished regarding making sure these hoes get that 16 foot dick, but I just want to let everyone else know if you get a bizarre looking pingback…you already know what’s up. So do what the God Hand does and keep your pimp hand strong. Don’t let these hoes steal your page-rankings by standing idly by. You’re not just hurting yourself if you do, but many other (anime) bloggers who treat their blog with care. So players and pimps, keep your friends close, but your hoes closer.
P.S. Oh and in case you havent noticed, I’m not a player…I just crush a lot.

I noticed this some time back for my own blog. Several spam blogs designed to generate ad revenue from my (and other people’s) work appeared. I managed to get all but one shut down and that one hasn’t been updated in a couple of years.
I know of a blog that steals bandwidth by using images from other sites/blogs for their blog. This site gets an average of 4000 hits/day (which pisses me off). My theory is that the site gets the bulk of its traffic through Google image searches and while the images could come from a post like this one here and your domain (with your ecchi girls), their blog would get the hit rather than yours.

This is just wrong. Stealing ones own work for use on another site is just absolutly wrong.
And I agree one hundred percent that bloggers like ourselves put in alot of time and effort covering the industry beat. And for those who think that they can steal our work and get away with it, I feel that they should have their webhosting privlages revoked or suspended all toghether.
I know that this sounds crazy, but this would be the best way to handle the situation. Imho.

@ NingYo: Lol @ the old site thing, but I figured I’d get some sort of response or at least get my post taken off for the time being. Even though spammers are hoes, they’re not stupid. Spamming, as hoe-ish as it is, is an art too. And this guy was doing it for a LONG time. If you were a spammer and someone said they’d shut you down and commented on all your posts and said they’d report the theme they were using as stolen…you’d get a little nervous too wouldn’t you? I would. But at anyways, it’s whatever.

Idk bro, all I know was that when I went to type in the exact words of my post, this hoe’s site came up first. So I knew I had to get rid of this bastard. It was a site from http://www.bloomct.com I believe. And apparently the spammer was a user of blooms, (andrew bloom), but this guy seemed really suspicious. I might just shut him down if I find enough weird stuff.
@ animeremix: Actually, I fully agree with you. I think there should be jail time involved. I really REALLY do. Some people would be like, “hey Matt, but isn’t that the same as piracy or stealing software?” Yes and no. Software companies make lots of money and don’t go in the negative period. They just make “less money.” I’ve done like 7 reports. However, bloggers DON’T usually make money, but the sick fucks stealing our work and slapping ads on their sites do. THAT’S wrong. Anyways, that’s a whole ‘nother post.
@ Canne: Basically it was the spam queue. You know those pingbacks you get like maybe once every couple months, and are usually your own? Well sometimes you get it from others who link to you. I saw some sites I didn’t approve of and was pretty much pissed.
Dude, it’s definitely time to move my shit, because if I’m getting server errors when I’M trying to comment…I know others are…jeez…why me.

But this guy made a post copying me WORD for WORD and had some link at the bottom to me indirectly. That’s just wrong.
