It’s kind of funny, but there are a myriad other stories that I find a bit more pressing than this, but I just had a couple things to get off my chest about the subject. And speaking of which, I had a really hard time thinking about what I wanted to dub the title of this little article. Since I’m a Journalism major in college…or trying to be, I was taught to conjure up a title after you were done writing the story. That way, you could use some sort of funny punch-line already in the article. This prevents you from having to force yourself to think of for 3 hours about a witty cover. However, when doing posts for my site, I don’t like to do that; I just like to do what I feel. And what I what I feel like talking about is hentai.

In case you didn’t read The H-Report, issue 1, you’ll need to know a couple things about what hentai is. Just visit the link and you’ll be informed in no time, but odds are you probably already know since most people who look at hentai do it purposely. Though The H-Report already disclosed the following information, I’ll reiterate “hentai” means, “strange desire” in Japanese. But the thing I just don’t understand is how it can possibly be misconstrued as something such as the aforesaid. Anime is art and so is hentai. Have you ever sat (or stood) to think about how much painstaking details are invested into these erotic masterpieces? A lot. Don’t get me wrong, people who do work for the anime companies we’ve come to love are great; their artwork has a palpable flair to it (obviously). Nevertheless, there’s just something even better about hentai. Let’s get real here, what’s NOT cool about seeing nude chicks? Idk my bff Jill…idk. Boobs twice as big as the girl’s head, lovely dainty, yet voluptuous frames, and not to mention scandalous outfits. ESPECIALLY the outfits…or lack thereof.

Furthermore, the genres available in the realm of hentai are far greater than the normal fanfare on the internet. Where else besides Japan would you see tentacles be so amazing & attractive at the same time? Who knows, but people like it. Enough to have entire sites devoted to it. Video game ecchi, bondage, lactation are a few other “bizarre,” but popular genres. While the reasons I just gave you are still more than valid, I’ll let you know, personally why I like to look at hentai and post it.

Simply put, hentai is beautiful. I know this might seem like a repeat of what’s been already stated, but I’ll go on. The perfect form of a woman’s body matched with the superb artwork of well thought out gradient-vectors and vibrant colors is so appealing, it hurts. As an artist (though I don’t draw much these days), I feel I know anime well and want to show everyone else everything around the world of anime. Hentai naturally is included. Am I not right that the colors in H-pics can be rivaled by almost no one? If you know some sources, let me know. I’d like to see. Butttt that’s only the fun side of anime. Conversely, there’s a “dark” side.

Of course, anything with nude women involved doesn’t exactly hold the most pristine stigma in the world. While majority of the people who have seen hentai cannot deny the beauty of the artwork, their opinions regarding the subject matter is a completely different thing. Hentai collectors are stereotyped as perverts who don’t like real women or only like sick, twisted genres like EXTREME bondage. Fortunately, that couldn’t be farther from the truth, but it still doesn’t keep people from believing it. When playing certain anime games online or talking to anime people for real, if the subject of hentai comes up, I have to ask myself if I’m comfortable with letting a certain person know I don’t mind looking at it. In addition, emphasize that I like it, but am NOT obsessed with it. What I am obssessed with however, is anime

Another thing that kind of bothers me is how hentai is perceived as merely, “cartoon porn.” Anime is not a fucking “cartoon.” Cartoons don’t have complex plots and drawn artwork that takes more time than the animation itself. Anyone who says that can kill themself, figuratively speaking. As touched on a little bit earlier, many others think if you like hentai, it’s just because you can’t get any girls. Btw, if I’m writing in circles, please forgive me. As paradoxical as it sounds, sometimes I have so much to write about, I don’t really know where to start. Games or shows like Bible Black, or Virgin Roster aren’t as bad as the “normal” guy or girl when we REALLY think about it. Let me give you a list of a couple shows to illustrate: To Catch a Predator, CSI, Oz, and Cheaters. What do all these have in common? Murder! Have you noticed a large amount of shows we like to watch involve murder, scandals, or some sort of violence. Again, when we really think about it, some of these shows are much more explicit than some simple nude “cartoon” pics are hypothetical H-games. Granted, I watch some of the same shows and play some fairly extreme games, but I don’t judge people for them. I only judge people when THEYYYY judge others for something they don’t understand or like that much. We’re all different along with our tastes. When more people realize this painfully simple notion, hopefully we’ll be there to reap the benefits.
