The story follows the “forbidden” love between a boy and his two stepsisters. The manga has already inspired three original anime DVD volumes that are bundled with the limited first editions of the third, fourth, and fifth manga volumes. Apparently, the manga from which this show was adapted from has been in Kodansha’s weekly Young Magazine since 2004. For those of you who are a bit skeptical about the pedigree of a show such as this, I’m sure you’d be glad to know the same person (Bow Ditama) who made, Fight Ippatsu! Juuden Chan!!, is the individual working on this series. In other news, A television anime adaptation of Bow Ditama‘s Kiss×sis romance manga has been green-lit for next spring.
SIDENOTE: so looking at the post I put in the picture’s link, this other blogger says he saw some OVAs earlier in the year of it. I don’t know if I’m super slow or stupid, but I think I’m still not grasping the difference between OVAs, OAVs, and regular anime episodes…I feel like I’m an epic fail. Someone help me out lol.
What a coincidence. For some really odd reason, I somehow started this manga, even though it pretty much contains everything I’m against: (underage sexual interactions, incest (it’s incest)…..okay I guess that’s it), and I’m actually finding it really funny and great. However, I watched the first OVA, and it just seemed kind of stupid. I’ll stick with the manga.
You know it’s funny you talk about the manga, because ever since ranma 1/2, I stopped with manga a while back. Where I goto school @, there’s no manga or anything. So it’s a bit hard to keep up. All I have is the internet

I read your message on my blog and I thought u might want to know this. The are starting an anime series on this, meaning not OVA/OAD, a 12 episode series.

ok, an anime series is created by the company (for example lets call the company A).
And an OVA/OAD is an 30 minutes episode that has the same characters and basically everything else as the series. BUT they does not connect with the original storyline at all. Sometime it is even made by a different company.
(instead of company A, company B made it)
Hence that is why a lot of art in OVA look different than the original series
OVA=OAD is basically the same thing. It’s just which one do u prefer to call it.
OVA stand for Original Anime Video (by original they mean made by different company, think of it like that)
OAD stand for Original Anime DVD
